WOODBINE MOHAWK PARK
Tuesday, October 27th and Saturday, October 30th
Woodbine Mohawk Park would like to inform all horsepeople of a new procedure to sign-up for training and schoolers.
Starting immediately, the sign-up links for all training and schoolers will be made available through www.Woodbine.com/Mohawk/Horsepeople/. The tab for ‘Training Sign-Up’ can be found on bottom right of the second row of red buttons The links for each training day or schooling session will be posted a minimum of a day before sign-up opens.
All Paddock COVID-19 protocols will be in place for training hours, including the requirement to have all people wearing a mask. Only Trainers and essential licensed personnel will be permitted through the Security check point. Please remember to fill out the online survey before arriving- COVID-19 Screening Form
Important to Note:
- Helmets and safety vests must be worn on the track
- Trainers must not bring more horses than they have signed up for
- Listing an employee as a trainer on additional horses does not allow you to bring in more horses than the maximum allowed
- All trainers must stick to the time they have signed up. Please do not arrive ahead of or stay later than you allotted time
Schoolers will be available following Qualifiers on Tuesday, October 27th by signing up on a first come first serve basis. Trainers must limit to no more than 4 horses total.
REMINDER: Horse people who do not provide verification that they have been fully vaccinated or those who elect not to disclose their vaccination status will be required to participate in the Enhanced Screening Program, which includes rapid testing (antigen) for COVID-19 at a frequency of at least twice per week (every seven days).
Monday to Sunday

Thursdays and Fridays
COVID-19 protocols are in place at the track to adhere to government guidelines. For more information, please contact Gary Patterson at 519-401-0570.
Thursday and Friday
All personnel, including Owners, Trainers, Drivers and Grooms, attending Flamboro Downs Racetrack are required to ask themselves the following questions prior to entering the property and confirm this action via EITHER ONE of these two forms:

12pm – 5pm
Hanover Raceway is open for training and will be by appointment only, space is limited. Trainers can schedule their appointment by calling Hanover Raceway General Manager Steve Fitzsimmons at 519-901-4360 or emailing email@example.com.
Everyone is to abide by Covid protocols, which include mandatory masks for all while on the premises, except during training and socially distancing from others. Only licensed personnel will be permitted on the grounds, which are the trainer and caretaker of the horse signed up to train.
9am – 2pm
Covid 19 screening will be in place at the track and social distancing will be enforced by staff. Horsepeople will be asked to use outside stalls only and trainers are reminded they must wear helmets and safety vests to gain access to the track.
Wednesdays (Until End of October)
8am – 10am
Horsepeople must reserve space by calling or texting Jim Huck at 705.927.3122.
All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect, including mandatory mask wearing at all times. Only essential personnel, to include trainers and a caretaker per horse, will be allowed entry. No spectators will be permitted.
RIDEAU CARLETON RACEWAY
Monday – Saturday
Rideau Carleton Raceway is open for training Monday through Saturday. All paddock COVID-19 protocols will be in place during training hours, including the requirement to ensure all attendees wear a mask.
THE RACEWAY AT WESTERN FAIR
When horse people enter the race paddock, they will be subject to a full screening process. This includes temperature checks and a questionnaire. Trainers are encouraged to allow themselves extra time when commuting to the track. Face masks are mandatory and physical distancing of 2metres/6 feet must be maintained.
