Multiple Win Night For MacDonald

In News by COSA

On the verge of surpassing $35 million in lifetime earnings, driver James MacDonald had himself a productive Thursday evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park thanks to a multi-win night in the racebike.

MacDonald, who finds himself in the midst of a seventh consecutive season with more than $3 million in earnings, manufactured a four-win performance on the 11-race program.

He got things rolling with Beach Baby Bee (1:54.4) in Race 2 and tacked on wins with Northern Blizzard (2:01.2) in Race 3, Marquis Volo (1:56.2) in Race 5 and then a dead-heat decision with E L Wild Spirit (1:53.3) in Race 7.

It’s now 124 wins and counting on the season for the reinsman based out of Guelph, Ont. That’s 10 consecutive seasons with at least 100 wins for MacDonald, who has racked up 2,252 wins to date.
