Another Preferrred Win For Treasured Tee

In News by COSA

After going home empty handed in last week’s $34,000 Preferred Trot at Mohawk Park, Treasured Tee returned to take on Woodbine Mohawk Park’s top trotters in Monday’s main event and bounced back in a big way for driver Doug McNair and trainer Richard Moreau.

Treasured Tee muscled his way to the lead from Post 6, and after whacking out fractions of :28.1, :56.4 and 1:24.3 he stormed home in :28.1 to win by a half-length margin over stablemate Memo in 1:52.4. Perfetto was beaten that same margin while finishing third.

Sent off at odds of 6-1, Treasured Tee recorded his third Preferred victory in his last five assignments for owner Brad Grant of Milton, ON. The six-year-old son of Yankee Glide-Platinum T improved this year’s record to 5-2-1 from 15 trips postward. The 15-time winner has banked over $250,000 to date.
